Floating Soundbaths in Surrey

Float. Surrender. A soundbath received on water

What is it?

Aqua sound is a soundbath you receive while floating. You lie fully clothed on a mattress that rests on the surface of the water — no swimming, no submersion, just the gentle suspension of being held by something other than the ground.

The water takes the weight of the body. The sound takes everything else.

Why floating changes everything

Something shifts when the floor disappears. Without solid ground beneath you, the body softens in a way it rarely does on a mat. Every small movement of the water becomes a kind of rocking — slow, involuntary, deeply regulating.

And then the sound arrives. Crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, koshi chimes — held live, moving through the air and across the surface of the water. The vibrations meet a body that has nowhere left to brace. Most people describe aqua sound as the deepest stillness they've ever known. A few describe it as the first time they've truly let go.

Who it's for

Anyone drawn to sound, stillness, or the rare feeling of being fully held. Aqua sound is particularly suited to those carrying physical tension, sleep loss, burnout, grief — or anyone who has tried meditation and found it slips through their fingers.

You don't need to swim. You don't get wet. You simply lie down, the water and sound does the rest.

Questions, Gently answered

Do I get wet?

Not fully. Your legs will get wet to get onto the mattress but you stay fully clothed and lie on the floating mattress on the surface of the water for the duration of the experience.

Do I need to swim?

No. You're not in the water — you're held above it.

What should I wear?

light, comfortable clothing. Something you can lie still in for an hour. Some people like to wear swimwear under their clothes, but its not a necessity

What if I'm nervous about water?

Tell us when you book. The mattress is stable and supportive, and we'll talk you through it before the session begins. Assistance will be in the water at all times, should you choose to end your experience early.

Can I book a private session for a group?

Yes. Birthdays, hen parties, team offsites, retreats, gatherings of any kind — tell us what you're imagining.
